Introduction:
Join us in making a difference in the lives of young athletes! Focused Development is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit AAU basketball organization dedicated to empowering student-athletes through sports, discipline, and leadership. Our mission is to provide talented youth with opportunities to compete, develop, and achieve their athletic and academic dreams.
Why We Need Your Help:
Many of our players come from underserved communities, and the costs of participation in AAU basketball can be a barrier to their success. To ensure every athlete has the chance to compete, we are raising funds to cover:
• Player Fees
• Uniforms
• Tournament Entry Fees
Each player’s total cost is approximately $950, and with 3 teams consisting of 8-10 players each, our total fundraising goal is $25,000. Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting these young athletes, allowing them to focus on developing their skills and gaining exposure to collegiate scouts and scholarship opportunities.
How You Can Make a Difference:
Your generous contribution will directly impact these athletes by removing financial obstacles and providing them with the necessary resources to succeed. No donation is too small—every bit helps us get closer to our goal!
• $50 covers a portion of a player’s uniform.
• $100 helps with tournament entry fees.
• $500 supports half of a player’s total cost.
• $925 fully sponsors one athlete for the season!
• We also offer a tax donation letter and donor receipts that confirm the donation amount was correctly and securely processed. Donor receipts also offer substantiation for supporters when tracking potential deductions for your end-of-the-year income tax return.
