Group Training
with A STAFF MEMBER
Advanced Groups:
This group is for the player ready to accept his/her place on a team playing the correct way. The players are fundamentally sound, willing to listen, learn, and lead as well as follow when necessary. We will begin to develop a basketball IQ. This area is for unselfish players that are ready to play for the team.
Developmental Groups:
This group is for players with no experience and players coming from recreation leagues. We will focus on basic basketball skills like ball handling, foot work, proper shooting form and defensive stances.
Experienced Groups:
This group is for players who have played in some competitive games. We will focus on improving basic basketball skills at game speed, learning to play in an offense, defense, leadership and teamwork. This area is for players nearing AAU capabilities.
Strength Training
There are several areas of strength training that are performed. There is circuit, there is group, and there is weight training. Some of which we handle while on court and in the gym.
Mobility
Having mobility in your sport is critical; keeping that mobility is what separates you from the other players. The stretches, the band work, the planks, all of this keeps you on the court doing what you love to do.
Cardio
Cardio is a key element to playing any sport. We have all the players and participants do running drills, burpees, line drills throughout a workout to ensure the durability of the athlete.
